We are delighted to share that 2 of our KCLAS women Kabaddi players Karpagavalli I -BA Political Science and Arivumathi I- BSc Sports Science were selected to represent our Coimbatore District Women’s Kabaddi team to participate in the SDAT CM Trophy State-level tournament (College Category) held at Chennai from 10th to 13th Oct. Team CBE constituting both the players won the Runners title with the Cash Award of 50k for each player.

Out of 100 students from different states of the country and from different backgrounds of Discipline, only three students from Tamilnadu were selected for this Internship. Our KCLAS student Ms. Sreevino P of I yr Masters Of Social work has been selected for this internship.
This internship program will give many insights for the students on Human rights, to know about international law and human rights, Rights of prisoners, virtual tour to the Tihar jail which is the largest jail in India and to know about the forensic role in Human rights . Mostly sessions are handled by NHRC officers. Interns will be assisted in research, analysis, and documentation related to human rights issues. This experience will enhance understanding of human rights laws, policies, and the functioning of a national human rights body, while contributing to meaningful work in promoting and protecting human rights.
