Best Presenter Award

The School of Commerce is delighted to share that our students Sandeep K and Sreenivasa Sai Kumar Reddy of III B.Com PA, along with Dr. N. Sumathy, presented a paper titled “AI Impact on Entry-level Accounting and IT Jobs in India” at the International Conference on AI for Sustainable Economic Growth: Driving Green Innovation, Workforce Skilling, Digital Trade, Transformation and Governance, organized by KPR College of Arts, Science and Research on 12th & 13th September 2025.

Their outstanding presentation earned them the Best Presenter Award, along with a cash prize of ₹1,000.

Billiards and Snooker championship

Snenthra Babu, a second-year BBA student of Kumaraguru has achieved a remarkable feat by clinching gold at the 91st National Billiards and Snooker Championship. This prestigious event is happening from 7th January to 10th February 2025 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Conducted by the Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI).

First Place in Ideathon – Data Science

The Department of Data Science is happy to share that the II-DS students Roshini and Janasri secured the Ist Prize and a cash award of ₹1,000 in IdeaBlitz, an Ideathon Competition at ByteBeats’25 hosted by Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science on 25/02/2025. The Project TuuLAI is an application that acts as a mood logger and relaxation technique suggestor, designed to be inclusive for neuro-divergent children on the spectrum and elderly individuals.

II Data Science students – Hackathon achievements

The School of Data Science is happy to share that Anamika, Vidula, Janani, and Devadharshini from the Second Year Data Science have won 2nd place and a cash prize of ₹3,000 at the She Hackathon hosted by Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science for Women. Additionally, Pragathi, Bavadharani, Kanisree, and Divyadharshini received the prestigious Smart Thinkers Award.

We are thrilled to share the extraordinary achievement of our MSW Student Yoga Vaishnavi who has won a Bronze Medal at India’s most Prestigious “38th National Games 2025” held in Uttarakhand from January 28 to February 14, 2025.

This remarkable feat is a testament to Vaishnavi ‘s Dedication, Perseverance, and Passion for Excellence. Her achievement brings pride not only to our College but also to the entire Sporting Community of our Institution and the State.

4 Awards and cash prize of Rs 15000 by Child Protection Club KCLAS

Rithick ( Viscom ) and Devi Sowmya ( Viscom) Representing KCLAS Child Protection Club participated in the film festival organised by District Child Protection Unit and Bharatiyar University on Oct 17th & 18th held at Bharathiar University.

KCLAS Won the State Silver medal in Kabaddi and one Lakh Cash Award in SDAT CM Trophy Tournament!

We are delighted to share that 2 of our KCLAS women Kabaddi players Karpagavalli I -BA Political Science and Arivumathi I- BSc Sports Science were selected to represent our Coimbatore District Women’s Kabaddi team to participate in the SDAT CM Trophy State-level tournament (College Category) held at Chennai from 10th to 13th Oct. Team CBE constituting both the players won the Runners title with the Cash Award of 50k for each player.

We are delighted to share that our student, Ms. Pranavi from III BA Political Science, has won the Best Delegate Award at the 61st All India Political Science Conference & International Seminar organized by the Indian Political Science Association.

The event, held on October 18–19, 2024, was hosted by Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner (Rajasthan) and revolved around the theme “Viksit Bharat @ 2047.”

Completion of Para Basic Course -Sarvesh R – School of Management

Dear Team,

We are proud to inform that Sarvesh R of III BBA has successfully completed his Para Basic Course and earned the distinguished Para Wing “Chidiya” today. By doing so, he has joined the elite ranks of the paratrooper family. Sarvesh underwent 13 days of intensive ground training in Agra and successfully passed the Fun Descent Test. KCLAS MSW Student gets short Term online Internship at NHRC

Out of 100 students from different states of the country and from different backgrounds of Discipline, only three students from Tamilnadu were selected for this Internship. Our KCLAS student Ms. Sreevino P of I yr Masters Of Social work has been selected for this internship.

This internship program will give many insights for the students on Human rights, to know about international law and human rights, Rights of prisoners, virtual tour to the Tihar jail which is the largest jail in India and to know about the forensic role in Human rights . Mostly sessions are handled by NHRC officers. Interns will be assisted in research, analysis, and documentation related to human rights issues. This experience will enhance understanding of human rights laws, policies, and the functioning of a national human rights body, while contributing to meaningful work in promoting and protecting human rights.

We’re delighted to announce that Abitha and Akil, first-year MSW students, have secured the prestigious position of Field Enumerator in an ICSSR-funded project through the National Commission for Women. This remarkable achievement reflects their dedication and competence. They’ll be contributing to research at the International Institute of Migration Studies.
