KCLAS Internal Complaints Committee - Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts & Science (KCLAS)

The Internal Complaints Committee has been constituted to address to complaints related to sexual harassment and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. The Committee deals with the issues under Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions Regulations, 2015

Objectives

1. Ensure safety for women students and faculty at the institution.
2. Publicly notify and commit to a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment by organising awareness programs or workshops on safety and security for the faculty and students.
3. Take cognizance of complaints about sexual harassment, conduct enquiries, provide assistance and redressal to the victims, recommend disciplinary action, or take immediate action against the harasser, if necessary.
4. Counsel and redress the safety and security issues of women students.
5. Organize events to promote gender equality and amity in the campus.
