Overview

outbound training program on team building, held at leap academy, was organized with the aim of enhancing participants’ teamwork, communication skills, adaptability, and leadership qualities. It brought together 428 enthusiastic individuals from diverse backgrounds, all eager to develop essential skills for personal and professional growth.

Objectives	Outcomes
To foster a sense of unity and collaboration among participants through interactive team-building exercises. To improve communication skills, emphasizing clarity, active listening, and effective delegation within teams. To demonstrate and cultivate adaptability among team members in varying circumstances and challenges. To explore leadership qualities and their application in influencing and inspiring team members. To identify and leverage individual strengths and styles for enhanced personal and team performance.	Improved teamwork, cooperation, and mutual support among team members. Training Theme : Experiential Learning – Adventures Camp

Overview

Experiential Learning is exactly what it sounds like: “Learning from Experience.” It is based on David A Kolb’s ‘Adult Learning Cycle’. Experiential Learning allows the students to

participate in an activity
Reflect on the activity in terms of individual behavioural patterns, team processes, application of organizational behavior and management principles.
Create a mental model of the needed behaviour for future similar instances.
Put the Concept to the test in a new setting.

The Learning Cycle is completed by more contemplation.

Objectives

To understand the dynamics involved in working as a Team Member rather than as an individual ie; to shift from the concept of ‘I’ to ‘We’.
To understand the linkages between theory and practice ie; understanding practical application of concepts/theories through activities which simulate group dynamics normally prevalent in work environment.
The focus is on generating opportunities for the students to play the roles they would be expected to play when they step into the corporate environment. And, all through, the theories of Organizational Behaviour and Management get reinforced.

Outcome

The 3-day adventure camp immersed students in a series of outdoor challenges and activities designed to foster personal and collective growth. Through rock climbing, rafting, and orienteering exercises, participants honed their problem-solving skills, learning to make quick decisions and collaborate effectively under pressure. Team-building games and rope courses strengthened interpersonal relationships, emphasizing trust, communication, and teamwork dynamics. The camp also nurtured personal resilience as participants tackled physical and mental challenges, fostering confidence and self-discovery. Leadership skills were developed through navigation exercises, where students learned to lead and inspire teams towards shared goals. Environmental awareness was heightened through nature walks and eco-friendly practices, instilling a deeper appreciation for sustainability. Reflective sessions allowed participants to consolidate their learnings, identifying actionable insights to apply in both personal and professional contexts. Overall, the camp provided a transformative experience, equipping participants with practical skills, resilience, and a renewed connection to nature.

From understanding the nuances of scriptwriting to the technical aspects of shooting a scene, this course provides a comprehensive learning experience for aspiring filmmakers. Participants will gain hands-on experience in blocking, staging, and shooting scenes, as well as an introduction to post-production techniques. This course is ideal for those looking to deepen their understanding of the filmmaking process and enhance their practical skills.

Objectives

Scene Construction: To construct a scene from the written script, translating words on a page into a visual narrative.
Scriptwriting Process: To understand the process of writing a scene, including dialogue, pacing, and dramatic structure.
Blocking and Staging: To practice blocking and staging the scene with actors, ensuring effective use of space and movement to enhance storytelling.
Technical Shooting Skills: To shoot the scene using Cine Camera and lenses, gaining proficiency in camera operation and cinematography techniques.
Introduction to Post-Production: To understand the basics of post-production, including editing, sound design, and visual effects, completing the filmmaking process.

Student underwent a transformative journey through all stages of film production. They interpreted written scripts into visually compelling scenes, mastered scriptwriting with skills in dialogue crafting, pacing, and dramatic structure. Practical sessions focused on refining blocking and staging techniques, enabling effective orchestration of actors and optimization of spatial dynamics. They also developed technical proficiency in shooting scenes using cine cameras and lenses, honing skills in framing, camera movement, and lighting. They also gained an introduction to post-production, understanding editing, sound design, and visual effects to complete the filmmaking process, culminating in the collaborative creation of a short film scene.
