Dr. Aruna started the session with some base notes on contract and by throwing some questions to the students she grabbed the attention of the students. Then the Resource person gave a brief talk on “Capacity to buy & sell and the subject matter of contract of sales”. She further briefed us about the capacities to enter into a contract, which gave the answers for who, how and when can a person enter into a contract. She also described the privileges of being a minor and the consequence of being in a contract with a minor.
She taught us the nooks and corners of the minor agreement. She also gave a note on the essentials of a valid contract of sales. Above all she didn’t limit herself to the topic, she was open enough to cover the topic even beyond the limit. She had a rich knowledge on the subject so that she was able to make the subject understandable to the students. She related the subject to the life and gave lots of example related to the subject which made us feel the subject interesting. The session was not a one-way communication, she made us to talk and took the session in an interactive way. She was ready to hear our views and she was patient enough to answer all our questions. Though she is specialized in it, she gave her talk in a very simple way which satisfied our expectation and as well as the purpose of a guest talk.
