Abstract: The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is the main societal concern these days. The virus has distinct effects in different countries. This paper is using the current data of COVID-19 for the mathematical model and analysis. We bring in a new representation to evaluate and manage the outbreak of infectious disease COVID-19 through parametric model considering the exogenous factors such as; growth rate of infectious people as the output and age, travel restrictions, temperature, gender, social distancing and using face mask as the inputs. Parameter estimation was carried out using maximum likelihood estimation method. Numerical results are presented through the appropriate tables and graphs using the data of seven countries.

Abstract: For the cost optimization a parametric model with a joint distributional assumption of normal half normal and non-parametric model with linear programming techniques are used here. Propose models were analyzed using LIMDEP 11 software with the data from maize farming for the comparative study. The empirical result showed that parametric model outstand non parametric model in cost optimization.
