Philosophy of KCLAS EDGE - Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts & Science (KCLAS)

KCLAS is dedicated to giving a liberal arts experience to the students – giving a “Integral” “Holistic” or “Ecological” world view, essentially they are trying to describe the interconnected nature of the world and human experience. KCLAS believes it is important for young people to learn; about themselves, about healthy relationship and pro- social behaviour, social development, emotional development, resilience, to see beauty; have awe ; experiences.

Hence KCLAS EDGE has been introduced as a unique model that nurtures the broad development of the students and maps a synergistic relationship among intellectual, emotional, social, physical, creative, aesthetic and spiritual potentials.

KCLAS Edge is built on the model given by Jacques Delors, who headed The International Commission on Education for the 21st Century to UNESCO.
