On 18.02.2020 the Department of Commerce arranged a Guest Talk on Delegation & Decentralization for the students of its II B.Com PA. Mr. K.V.Subramanian, General Manager (Marketing) Everest Industries Limited was the Speaker, explained the importance of delegation and the concepts behind effective delegation, as well as the forms of delegation appropriate for SMEs. In addition, decentralization has its own positive & negative side, so managers should focus on the positive side of decentralization before implementing it, as well as the importance of internal environmental scanning before and after decentralization. Whatever it may be, the progress that he references would result in organizational discipline in execution & decentralization of delegations.
