On the 19th of September 2019, the BBA Students of KCLAS, had a pleasure of hosting Ms. Dhivya” An eye opener session on Corporate Etiquettes .
Ms Dhivya began her session by sharing her experience in teaching both the Engineering and MBA students. Taking this forward, she explained about protocol, to shore up the professional relationships and networking skills. Planning, though crucial, should not eat up months or years during the starting phase. Ms Dhivya suggested that recessions are great times to start new ventures, as hiring talent becomes easier during such phases. She also discussed scaling up, recruiting and its associated challenges.
According to her, beautiful things can happen when change happens. She then took the session forward by sharing her insights on general guidelines for manners and behaviour in the corporate sector. Also to introduce students to business etiquette and grooming and to familiarize them with formal set up of dress code in a workplace. She conveyed that, every culture has its own different set of manners, and a lot of manners are common across cultures which is important to follow them.
Ms Dhivya concluded her much-appreciated session with a note on innovation, stating that Business Etiquette answers, whether or not, a behaviour is socially acceptable and culturally respectable. The audience was delighted to be a part of the session, wherein Ms Dhivya answered all questions of the students by presenting eye-opening perspectives of founding on Corporate Communication.
