Study Visit

The students of I B.Sc. Viscom went on a study visit under Edge+ program to Bengaluru from January 30 to February 01, 2020. The study visits included January 30-31, 2020 – Two Day Workshop at Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication (SIMC), Bangalore on “Branding Advertisements”. The Workshop was hosted and coordinated by Dr.Thilaka, Director- SIMC. February 1, 2020 – One Day Visit to Disha Communications- Advertising Agency.

Student Awards

Award galore for the students of Visual Communication during the month of February, as a short film KALKI produced by students of 2nd and 1st Viscom won two First prize and two Second prize in short film competitions conducted by Krishna Aditya, SNS College, Rathnam and Sankara College respectively. The makers of the film Vinmathi G, Bhavadhareni S, Yalini T, Tirzah Mini, Keshav Ganesh, Bharath K were awarded with certificates and cash prize during the event.

KCLAS Outreach

Students of 1st B.Sc. Viscom, Sai Harshan S(19BVC009), Badri Narain R (19BVC016) and Sanjeev D S (19BVC010) training the students with specific learning disabilities at Helikx Open School and Learning Centre, Salem as their professional volunteering and department outreach.
