DESCRIPTION:School of Commerce presents Conclave on the Theme: Shift in Technology: Role of Finance Professionals \nDate: February 7th\, 2025 \nLocation: Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science\, Coimbatore \n\n\n\n\n\n\nKCLAS School of Commerce\, in association with the Institute of Cost Accountants of India\, successfully hosted the Shift in Technology: Role of Finance Professionals conclave on February 7th\, 2025\, bringing together finance professionals\, Industrial delegates\, academicians\, and students from 16 esteemed colleges and institutions. \n\nThe event was graced by the distinguished Guest of Honour\, CMA R. Maheswaran\, Chairman of ICMAI Coimbatore Chapter\, who delivered an inspiring address on the critical role of finance professionals in navigating technological advancements. \n\nThe conclave featured four dynamic sessions led by industry experts and CMA professionals offering invaluable insights into the evolving financial landscape. \n\nThe inaugural session\, “The Impact of Technology on Financial Services” set the tone for the day exploring how AI\, blockchain\, and data analytics are reshaping the finance sector. CMA K. Ramasamy\, Head (Finance and HR) at Global Vantage Innovative Group of Companies\, Singapore\, delivered a thought-provoking talk on “Volatility in Financial Markets – Global Scenario” providing an in-depth analysis of global market trends and strategies to mitigate risks. \n\nCMA Rakesh Shankar Ravishankar\, a Practising Cost Accountant from Chennai\, presented an insightful session on “Sustainable Finance – Driving ESG Investments” underscoring the importance of incorporating ESG factors into financial decision-making. \n\nShri. Senthil Kumar Kandasamy\, Executive Director of Rabwin Industries Private Limited\, Coimbatore\, delivered a powerful keynote address on “The Future of Banking: Digital Transformation\,” which discussed how digital technologies disrupt the banking industry. \n\nThe event was graced by CMA Surya Prakash U\, Vice Chairman\, ICMAI Coimbatore Chapter\, as the Guest of Honour for the valedictory session. His insightful address highlighted the critical role of finance professionals in adapting to and leading technological advancements. \n\nThis conclave proved a resounding success fostering deep discussions\, knowledge exchange and networking opportunities.
