DESCRIPTION:Office of Student Affairs Event\, Kumaraguru Institutions  \nThe term ‘Liberal Arts’ is synonymous with a holistic education that focuses on nurturing the academic\, socio-cultural growth and moral values of an individual. Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science (KCLAS) is an institution that has devoted itself to the progress and development of its students. It is an institution that hopes to ensure student involvement in problem and project-based learning in order to build a better society. Under the pioneering leadership of the Founder Arutchelvar Dr. N. Mahalingam\, who believed in individual and societal progress\, KCLAS hopes to celebrate those students who are exemplars of a Liberal Arts education; those students who have pushed past borders and been able to co-operate and foster intra and inter-departmental relationships and ideas\, by bestowing on them\, ‘Achievers Awards’.   \n\nThe students from the graduating batch 2018-2021 are invited to nominate themselves for these awards under three different categories\, based on excellence in activities ranging from academics and outreach to sports and overall performance.    \n1)      Icon of the Batch An award for a student who has achieved high levels of mastery in versatility.
