Introduction
Ms. Javeria Imam has completed her MSc. in Counseling Psychology from Sampurna Montfort College in 2019 and is a UGC-NET qualified educator. She is a certified Counseling Psychologist and is also involved in conducting psychoeducation-based workshops.
My research interests are in the areas of family therapy, altruism and its effects, and holistic education. I have corporate experience in the field of communication, academic experience teaching psychology, and psychotherapeutic intervention-based counseling experience.
- Completed Introduction to Play Therapy workshop (2019)
- Successfully Completed a two-week workshop on Transpersonal psychology conducted by the International Transpersonal Association (2018).
- Won third prize for the national level suicide prevention campaign conducted by NIMHANS.
- Attended workshops and conferences conducted by NIMHANS during 2017-2019.
Hobbies
Volunteering, listening to podcasts, pet-sitting, baking, learning new languages, writing snippets, and editing articles.
