Dr.K. Manjula Bashini holds a doctoral degree in English Language Teaching from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NITT). She has been involved in teaching Undergraduate Engineering and Arts students for more than 11 years. She has also pursued her Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching of English (PGDTE) from English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad. She has completed her M. Phil (English and Communicative Studies) from Gandhigram Rural Institute (Deemed University) and her M.A in English Literature with a credit of achieving 8th Rank from the Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. Her areas of research interest include – English Language Teaching, Teacher Education and Indian Writing in English. She has also served as a project fellow in a UGC Major Research Project. Published a book titled INSET for Teachers of English in Engineering Colleges: An ESP Framework. Germany: LAMBERT Academic Publishing, 2017. Attended many National and International Conferences where she has presented papers and also published papers in book chapters and research journals. Best Paper Award for the paper titled Need for Teacher Training in Improving the Learners’ Learning Ability at the International Conference on Trends and Innovations in Language Teaching, Sathyabama University, Chennai.
